A slice of heaven in Lancefield. Awesome staycation at Cleveland Winery in Macedon Ranges with Sam. Extraordinary estate with sweeping views, first class accommodation, rewarding wine tasting at cellar door and superb dining at The Carriage House restaurant. A gateway and base to enjoy so much of the region.
Impressive accomodation on a stunning Estate.
We were blessed with mulled wine and cheese platter on arrival, enjoyed on the restaurant balcony overlooking the vineyards. Plus a welcome surprise of sparkling Lindenderry Rosé in the room.
A stroll around the gardens was therapeutic with autumn leaves stunning.
We had fun tasting wines at Cellar Door with Akshay then a delightful dinner in the restaurant featuring cocktails and the Lindenderry range of wines. My Eye fillet was cooked to perfection as was the Barramundi.
A hearty country breakfast back at The Carriage House restaurant with its awesome view of the ranges and a stroll around the lake was another highlight. Plus Sam enjoyed a swing!
Staff were exceptional throughout and made us feel super welcome. We visited local attractions after we checked out, with @clevelandwinery perfectly placed to take in the region. Thanks for having us!
