Melbourne Central Little Library - Literary Gem in CBD

The Melbourne Central Little Library is a community initiative where people are encouraged to share the written word, to come and share in the joys that books can bring.

Designed with an old book store feel the Melbourne Central Little Library is a great place for commuters, city goers, visitors and students to escape to for a free read.

MELBURNIANS CONFIRM THERE IS STILL A HOME FOR THE PAPERBACK BOOK IN THIS TOWN.

OVER 500 BOOKS EXCHANGED AT MELBOURNE CENTRAL'S LITTLE LIBRARY IN UNDER TWO WEEKS.

The GPT Group's Melbourne Central has launched its Little Library concept within The Corner precinct and consumers have jumped on the initiative, confirming there is still a strong appreciation for paperback books in Melbourne.

Since opening at the end of last month, Melbourne Central's Little Library - a
community initiative where consumers and commuters can swap and share their pre-loved books - have exchanged over 500 copies of paperback books.

Justin Shannon, General Manager at Melbourne Central said, "We're thrilled to learn that the Melbourne Central consumer still engage with the old fashioned paperback book. In true Melbourne Central style, Little Library is quirky, off beat and designed to offer a broader experience within the centre."

The Little Library operates through a borrowing system of honesty where consumers can share their pre loved books, borrow from the Little Library and in turn donate so others can enjoy.

The Little Library will be based within The Corner - the centre's newest precinct, home to an exciting mix of leading international and local urban fashion and lifestyle brands.
