Staycation at Mitchelton Airstream Hotel in Nagambie
The Mitchelton Airstream Hotel is a superb premium luxury staycation in regional Victoria, and we were privileged to experience the benefits. Seven full-size, sparkling-new Airstream RVs adorn the Estate to offer a gorgeous stay for guests all year-round. Situated just a short stroll from the Mitchelton Hotel, guests who choose to stay in the Airstreams have their own deck area with furniture – perfect for cosy nights in the great outdoors or a cooked breakfast treat at sunrise.
We experienced this stunning accommodation (with all the features) amongst the vines in a romantic relaxing setting, but still close to all the facilities. At times we were also able to take advantage of the golf buggy to bring bags to the car, return from reception etc.

Airstream accomodation was fun and a touch of class with all the benefits of the Mitchelton Wines precinct available including the pool, Day Spa and gym. We coudn't believe how well the Airstream was appointed with luxury features including full cooking facilities using gas, water, electricity, minibar, USB charging, sound system, TV, quality furniture and shower area. We were able to relax on the deck with a bottle of Mitchelton Shiraz.
In terms of activities, we journeyed up the Lookout Tower, enjoyed wine tasting at the modern ample Cellar Door (Danielle was excellent), Gallery of Aboriginal Art, a fabulous dinner at @muserestaurant_ (Theo at FOH was on fire), great vineyard and river vibes, taken around in the golf buggy, Mitchelton Shiraz on the deck, and a sensational breakfast pack in the morning.
Dinner at the Muse was spectacular. We started off indoors but we were moved to a table outdoors overlooking the river. Highlights included the Sydney Rock Oysters, House made bread, Kangaroo Tartare, magnificent Lamb Shoulder with three times cooked potatoes and salad sides. Washed down with stunning Mitchelton Wines.

Lamb Shoulder was exceptional.
We were also treated to a delicious breakfast hamper from Mitchelton’s Provedore to rave about!
