An Unhurried Christmas with Glengoyne at Cutler
This November, Melbourne’s acclaimed Cutler will host An Unhurried Christmas with Glengoyne, an exclusive whisky masterclass led by Glengoyne’s Global Brand Ambassador, Gordon Dundas, who will be visiting Australia from Scotland to guide guests through an evening of tasting and storytelling.

For one evening only, the Fitzroy restaurant will transform its private dining room into an intimate whisky haven. Under Gordon’s expert guidance, attendees will be taken on a journey through a selection of Glengoyne’s most celebrated single malts, exploring the craft, character and complexity that define the Highland distillery’s globally renowned style.

The evening begins with a handcrafted Honey Bee cocktail, a refreshing mix of Glengoyne 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch, lemon, honey and ginger ale, offering a bright and balanced introduction to the tasting. From there, guests will enjoy a guided exploration of three distinctive expressions: the Glengoyne 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch, known for its citrus freshness and soft oak finish; the Glengoyne Single Malt Scotch Cask Strength, rich with sherry sweetness, cocoa and spice; and the showpiece of the evening, the Glengoyne 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch, matured for over two decades to reveal layers of rich Christmas cake, dark fruit, polished oak, and warming spice that linger long after the final sip.

Throughout the evening, guests will be treated to a thoughtfully curated dining experience from the Cutler kitchen. Each dish has been designed to complement the whiskies, using seasonal ingredients and refined flavours that mirror Glengoyne’s own. Tasty highlights include Foie Gras Parfait Tart with Golden Raisin and Pistachio, Wood-Grilled Beef Rib with Pickled Shallot and Wasabi Leaf, and Abrolhos Island Scallop with Montpellier Butter, each pairing designed to draw out a different note in the tasting journey.
