Impressive Dining at The Bay Hotel in Mornington
Superb lunch on the Mornington Peninsula at The Bay Hotel was enjoyed by David & Mario. Back with its beach-side charm, Main Street Mornington’s The Bay Hotel has been restored to its former 1889 glory by Liam Ganley (Angus & Bon, Freddie Wimpoles and Fifth Province).

Serving pub classics as well as dishes with more flair and local beer and wine in a warm and inviting ambiance, The Bay makes a welcome return to the Peninsula.

What impressed was the menu is tailored to excellent Victorian local produce, an example being delicious Mount Martha Mussels, Pt Lincoln Calamari and Red Gum Creek Eye Fillet. All exceptional dishes.

This is a pub upgrade of note and surely one of the best dining options in the region. And definitely worth a drive from Melbourne. Beverage list also impressed and there’s a compelling wine room.

A great place to enjoy a long lunch or dinner in beautiful Mornington. Service here was exceptional during our visit. A savvy welcoming attractive destination that exceeds expectation.
