Madame Sousou is a chic little French cafe on Brunswick Street that exudes style and warmth. Come here through the double wooden doors for quality coffee, cuisine and engaging staff.
Madame Sousou is an impressive place to meet with friends in an intimate and stylish setting. The coffee is excellent using the La Marzacco. The long black was generous and not lacking in flavour.
Having been here with friends several times, it's a great place for coffee and quality cakes. But of course Madame Sousou has a sparkling menu with great selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Madame Sousou is known for great breakfast options such as the Croque Madame Sousou, croissants, baked eggs, eggs and salmon, French crepes, ommelettes and Housemade toasted muesli.
Lunch selections include risotto, gnocchi, steak, fish of the day and much more.
The Confit duck leg and the Confit ocean trout are popular choices for dinner.
It is enjoyable to dine inside with the great ambience including fine architecture, cool tiles, chairs with cane, elegant copper and parchment chandeliers and eclectic nude art on the walls. Above the counter there are photos and posters that captivate. The marble topped bar and use of dark timbers adds to the ambience.
It's pleasant to dine outside in the two locations by Brunswick Street or indeed inside in intimacy.
Staff are friendly, helpful and look cool in their black aprons.
Madame Sousou is a stylish option on eclectic Brunswick Street.
