Great French cafe on Smith St.! A little French gem and popular with locals. Seems to be people from all walks of life who visit this place. Walked past this place daily for a couple of months before curiosity drove me to venture inside.

Love the French host who is such a character and has a capable team around him. Love the chic ambience with green wall and classic light fitting. Love the French artwork/pictures especially the quirky green art figures along the counter. And incredibly a guitar mounted on the wall! My first thought was whether the chef also plays the guitar??

The food is great at La Niche! Love the burger with blue cheese! Love the service! Love the Barcelona pizza! Great pizza with excellent dough and fresh ingredients! My pizza came on a wooden cheese board! Some real punch for lunch! Great coffee! Also cool to sit outside on Smith St and watch the world go by...
