Cherry and Twigs a Gem on Flinders Lane

Cherry and Twigs is an attractive cafe in Flinders Lane at the Spencer Street end. These guys take their coffee seriously and aim to please. Along with the coffee is an attractive menu with hearty breakfast options.

This cafe is a little hide away secret. With an address of Flinders Lane its actually tucked away in the laneway next to the Holiday Inn.

Coffee was supplied by The Maling Room and Market Lane, two of my Melbourne favourites... This latte was smooth and flavoursome. Cherry and Twigs also love their cold drips and pour overs.

Cherry and Twigs is a unique cafe with a mix of Asian and non Asian menu items. But it works. The breakfast egg and bacon roll was a good portion and with abundance of egg and bacon, also with a killer relish. Nice touch with the salad on the side.

More substantial options include the Corn fritters and the Bacon Benedict. The Brunch baguette platter also looked alluring with smoked salmon and poached chicken options.

Cherry and Twigs have also surprised with top notch Thai green curries for lunch. Or choose a Chicken fillet or Pork belly salad. Or indeed gourmet sandwiches and wraps.

Cherry and Twigs have put alot into the fit out and this is an attractive place to meet with friends and business associates. Enjoyed the almost Scandinavian look with great use of timber.

A La Marzozzo provides the heavy artillery for excellent coffee. Display cabinets also stock attractive looking cakes and tasty treats.

Staff here are warm and engaging and I enjoyed a chat.
