Roll'd Expansion on Fresh Healthy Vietnamese Cuisine

Roll'd is taking all before it in terms of its expansion across Melbourne with some 8 stores. Things have developed so quickly in the last couple of years. Vietnamese convenience food that's full of flavour is a hit, and appeals because of its fresh and healthy features.

Aussie palates are connecting big time to Roll'd offerings including banh mi, legendary pho, Vietnamese salads and Rice paper rolls, amongst others.

As a guest of Roll'd I checked out their new store next to RMIT and it was pho as my meal of choice. I found the pho to be excellent quality with tasty broth, rare thin beef and of decent size. Chilli and sauce was supplied on the side, in case you wanted a greater kick (I obliged).

What was interesting was that the sprouts and other accompaniments were included in the pho rather than on the side. Maybe this is to help novices who aren't sure what to do with a side plate of mint, sprouts etc.

The fit out is attractive and colourful - even chic. A neon sign highlights the main menu specials in Vietnamese.

The iced tea choices are excellent and are supplied either in bottles or from the chilled container. My peach iced tea was refreshing as I tackled the pho.

Roll'd has some eclectic spaces in its store, such as pillars with modern artwork, and use of various textures celebrating Vietnam.

Rice paper rolls are a hit with tempting fillings...

Roll'd are making inroads into a market of office workers and others looking for healthier lunch options at affordable prices.
