Galliano Espresso Martinis A Hit at Taste of Melbourne

tom-29

Galliano provided one of the most attractive displays at the recent Taste of Melbourne in Albert Park and we were on hand to sample some of their iconic cocktails and see a cocktail champion at work.

Encouraging festival-goers to share a selection of cocktails with a friend, GALLIANO developed a wooden tasting paddle. This gave visitors the opportunity to sample up to three GALLIANO cocktails mixed by some of Australia’s best bartenders.

The hero cocktail was the Espresso Martini, made with Galliano Ristretto, a blend of natural Arabica (55%) and Robusta (45%) coffee beans, resulting in a pure and natural coffee taste, enhancing the coffee flavour and adding strong, bitter notes.

I'm a Espresso Martini lover and have sampled quite a few across Melbourne. The Galliano Ristretto brings sophistication to the Espresso Martini. After the experience I'm keen to use Galliano myself in making Espresso Martini's, for the X factor.

Between the chocolate and creamy taste of the Arabica beans, and the strong and bitter notes from the Robusta, Galliano Ristretto provides the ultimate balance of flavour for the perfect Espresso Martini.

Other cocktails made with Galliano served at Taste of Melbourne were the Vanilla Pallino and the Amaretto Sour.

Walking away with 2 paddles was indulgent, and I was asked by several groups at Taste of Melbourne as to where I had sourced these cocktails.

This year GALLIANO also gave visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Italian culture. Attendees enjoyed a range of incredible cocktails over a fun game of Bocce on the two lanes set up especially for the event. People were able to enjoy relaxing and unwinding with friends at the tables and chairs positioned around the tent.  I appreciated the fun element and sophistication of GALLIANO.
